The “Little Quapaw’s” Series is a series of 11 “little people” that were inspired by stories from our purebloods of the past about the little people that roam among us. Each figure depicts the various responsibilities of our tribal members over the past centuries. Each person has three tear drops on their left cheek to signify the loss of our purebloods. They range from 12 to 19 inches tall. There is the “story teller/translator/spiritual leader”, the “Fire Keeper”, the “Shell Shaker Dancer”, the “Typical Quapaw woman”, the “Warrior”, the “Mother”, the “Basket Maker”, the “Pottery Maker”, the “Hunter”, the “Farmer”, and the “Giver of the Names”. They are all functional bottles with removable heads.
